Slicer:
A larger sized pickle. Slicers have more seeds than a pickle. They are great for pickling and salads.
Pickle (Kirby):
A small pickle with very few seeds. Kirby pickles are often sweeter than a cucumber and a slicer. They are great for pickling, adding to salads and eating as a snack!
Harvest:
Mid-June until frost
Handling & Storage:
Cucumbers and pickles should be refrigerated (approx. 35°F) and washed prior to using.
